Late recap. Whatever.

Canes won 7-2 over the Coyotes last Saturday.

(Yeah, it's a late recap. So what?)

Let's see what I remember... Hm... Not much. The Canes were tied 2-2 when I went to bed, so I missed the goal-tacular third period. I believe the win vaulted them into 8th place at the time, but we've currently slipped back into ninth place since then.

Jussi Jokinen got the his first assist as a Cane in the game as well. Interesting how his and Ruutu's debuts seem eerily similar (and yet so far apart...)

Next game is tomorrow against the Florida Panthers, who currently hold the coveted eighth position in the standings. Huge game, anyone?
