Canes won yesterday 3-1 against Montreal.
I only got to see the end of the 3rd period. Chad LaRose looked pretty good, knocking in the empty net goal and almost scoring on a breakaway.
Apparently they outshot Montreal by some crazy amount (30-8) in the first two periods.
Canes are looking pretty good to start off the season, I must say. A heckuva lot better than last year, at least.
Next game is on Friday against the Pens - what's up with the 6 day break?
