Canes lose in shootout. Again.

Canes lost in a shootout 6-5.

Well, here we are with another Canes shootout loss.

The Canes played pretty well, I thought. The only problem they had was that they couldn't hold a lead.
Example: Eric Staal scores first on a power play. Vaclav Prospal answers a minute later.

The game pretty much went on like that. Eric Staal proved why he's an All-Star with two goals, and Justin Williams put up a pretty poor showing with 5 giveaways. Andrew Ladd looked pretty good with a goal and an assist.

Yep, that's about it. This was the last game before the All-Star break and now Atlanta is ahead by 6 points, and Tampa only trailing the Canes by 2.
