There actually is some hockey news today. (YaY!)
Eric Lindros did become a Star, for one year worth 1.55 mil plus incentives.
Radim Vrbata was signed by the Blackhawks for two years. Canes fans might remember him... but to me he's kinda lost in the thought process of "Oh yeah, that guy played for us... didn't play in the playoffs ever, did he? No... only for the Avalanche... Don't think he ever really produced like he was supposed to... What's on TV?... While You Were Out?... Well, I guess there's nothing else on..."
CarolinaHurricanes.com has a really nice article about what Glen Wesley did with the Cup. He took it to one of the wounded barracks down at Camp Lejeune. This is the first time that a player actually took his own personal time with the Cup to do that. Shows a lot about a guy's character. There's also a lot about it here.
