Canes start series tomorrow

Canes play the Devils tomorrow. I can't wait! Hopefully it will be a good game (not 6-1 like the other first game).

Canes have some players that have been nominated for awards! YaY! For the Frank J. Selke trophy (top defensive forward) Rod Brind'Amour is a finalist, and for the Jack Adams Award (Coach of the year) Peter Laviolette is a finalist. Lots of luck to them!

Also in NHL news, Saku Koivu is expected to make a full recovery. The reason he did not play in the last 3 games of the Canadiens/Canes series is because the high stick broke a bone to the left of his eye. Ow!

Canes are on national TV at 2:00 pm tomorrow (NBC). This means that, even if you don't have cable, you have to watch this game. No excuses! Watch it or face the wrath of the spork!
