The Canes have broken out of their losing slide with a two-game winning streak!
The first win came against Toronto, a 2-0 shutout on Monday. I didn't see it, as it wasn't on TV, but apparently Cam Ward was spectactular.
The second win was last night against Pittsburgh. They played so much better than in the last game that I watched. And Cam Ward was awesome as well, definitely making the saves he needed to make, and the ones that were almost impossible to stop. The defining moment, I thought, was the kill of Tim Gleason's double minor to end the game. Canes were perfect in stopping the Penguins 5-on-4 and then 6-on-4 drive.
The next game is way after the All Star Break. Hopefully they'll remember how to win like this next week!
