Canes play Pens!

Canes play Pittsburgh tonight!

I just love going to these games. Not only to I get to boo the despised one, but they're always great, high-paced games. And it's always nice to see the Canes shut down the Pens young core, including Sid Crosby, Evgeni Malkin, and Jordan Staal. (er... knock on wood...) And there's the subplot with the Staal brothers fighting it out for family pride.

The lame news today? Apparently, according to the N&O, Erik Cole's goal has disappeared:
Carolina's first goal Wednesday, originally credited to Eric Staal, then changed to Erik Cole, has been officially credited to Staal.
Can you say LAME? Oh well... Cole'll just have to make it up tonight!

I can't believe they changed the goal AGAIN!! There should be a statute of limitations for that sort of thing.

Did you see the new wallpaper, #2 in the series? Yes, wonderful Erik now graces my computer screen. Not only a great hockey player, but a really nice person. I met him at skate with the Canes a few years ago, and he was so nice and down to Earth!!

I know, right? It's bad enough they changed it during the game - but then the day afterwards? Ridiculous.

Yes I did! And I took the liberty of making that the wallpaper on the shared computer...
Never have actually met him (unless you count asking him to sign my jersey)...
