Wow. That game was horrible.

The Canes had no defense, and very little offense. It is a tribute to Cam Ward that the Canes weren't down by worse, and that the Canes had actually scored a goal, especially after the first period.
How bad was the first period? The Canes had one shot per five minutes of ice-time, and that was including a power play.

The game was just crap. That's really all I can say.

The worst part was that Erik Cole didn't play because of a "lower-body contusion".

Canes had better get their act together soon.
