Lame

Canes lost 4-1.

The Canes scored the first goal, a nice push to the net, with Andrew Ladd scoring.

After that, the game was crap. The Canes barely had any good chances or anything that was really memorable. It all just kind of ran together in my mind as a blur of crappy play.

John Grahame played well, though the score doesn't show it. And Chad LaRose played pretty well, too.

For those of you who were at the RBC Center, do you happen to know why they were playing Christmas music when it isn't even December yet? Just wondering, because I can't make sense of it.

Canes traded defenseman Derrick Walser for Mark Flood from Columbus.

Canes play Montreal tomorrow. I hope it's better.
