Canes play Buffalo tonight.
I think this scheduling is really messed up. This is the 19th game of the season for the Canes, and Buffalo's been their opponent for 3 of those matchups. We haven't even played teams like Boston, NY Rangers, Philadelphia, or Toronto, but we have Buffalo three out of 19 times to start the season.
Something seems a little lopsided.
Anyways... On the Buffalo side of things, Teppo Numminen will break an NHL record for most games played by a European when he steps on the Carolina ice tonight.
Also on the Buffalo side of things are their nasty jerseys. My retinas begin to burn after the second period of a Buffalo game.
