Canes win last preseason game

Yes! The Canes finally win in a 4-2 victory over the Washington C[r]apitals.

I listened to the game on the radio. The line of Cole-Staal-Whitney was killer. Cole had 1 goal, 2 assists; Staal had 1 goal and 3 assists; Whitney had 2 goals. Cam Ward sounded solid, and the Canes sounded like they were playing with more ferocity than their first games.
Hopefully this momentum will carry on into Opening Night, which is THIS WEDNESDAY!
