Canes win!

Canes won 7-2 over the Oilers last night.

It was the most exciting game I've watched in a while, that's for sure.

The first period was pretty well played by the Canes - Brind'Amour scored first - how long has it been since that's happened?

In the second the Canes' intensity dropped a tad bit, but they still came out of that period with a 2-1 lead.

And then the third period began, with the Canes scoring 5 goals. Eric Staal notched a hat trick - one goal was a sweet penalty shot.

This is the best I've seen the Canes play in a while - a full 60 minute output with a win!!!!

Of course, it was against Edmonton, so it might not say much... - But who cares? It was a win!
