Cole v. Orpik #2 TONIGHT!

Tonight the Canes play the Penguins in Cole v. Orpik #2!

In the last matchup between these two, Cole got two assists, but there was no real bone crunching hits.
*sigh*
But the Canes beat the Pens 6-2, so the game wasn't a bust.

For this game, Pittsburgh is currently four points out of the Eastern playoff picture, while Carolina is cruising along in 5th place. Pittsburgh's two leading scorers are: the league points and assists leader Sid Crosby and Evgeni Malkin, players Carolina will certainly have to look out for.
Not to mention the Staal v. Staal matchup. Young Jordan Staal has 13 points, 5 of them being the shorthanded goals. Older brother Eric Staal is having scoring trouble, having not scored a goal since Carolina's victory over Tampa Bay. Perhaps this is the night he breaks out?

Other news today:
Chris Pronger broke his foot.
This is the last day you can vote for your NHL All-Stars. I recommend Erik Cole, Eric Staal, Rod Brind'Amour, Cam Ward, and Rory Fitzpatrick as your Western write-in.

And, I think I'm going to bite the bullet and change over to the "new" Blogger. I hope everything goes well with it...
